New Canvas of Life is an annual fundraising event to support the life-changing work of London Health Sciences Centre’s Multi-Organ Transplant Program.
This year’s event featured an up-close and personal performance by June Award-winner, singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith. With an online art auction showcasing artwork produced by transplant recipients, living donors, medical staff, local artists and Canadian celebrities, New Canvas of Life celebrates the beauty of art to support the gift of life.
Donations to London Health Sciences Centre’s Multi-Organ Transplant Program can be made online.

No mountain is too high for Heather Fisher.
A courageous adventurer and warrior in her own right, Heather Fisher challenges the odds and embraces opportunity every chance she gets. Fisher is a Mount Kilimanjaro conqueror, an international athletic gold medalist, and one of the longest living liver transplant recipients in the world.
She was 29 when she learned that a liver transplant was the only means to her autoimmune disease recovery, but in 1982, at Heather Fisher’s time of need, only three transplants had been performed in London; only one had survived.
